Change or cancel an appointment

If you need to change or cancel your outpatient appointment, you can do so by completing the online form or by calling us.

If you need to change or cancel your outpatient NHS appointment with University Hospitals of Leicester, please use one of the options below.

Complete our online form

The quickest and easiest way to change or cancel an appointment is to complete our online form via our Booking Centre via Accurx. Our teams will review your request. 

Booking Centre opening hours: 
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:45pm 
  • Closed on bank holidays

Managing your appointment online

You may also be able to request to change or cancel your appointment using official NHS services. 

NHS App

  • View your upcoming appointments 
  • Request to cancel some outpatient appointments 

Log in to the NHS App and go to Your Health, then Upcoming and Past Appointments. 
If you cannot see a cancellation request option, please use the online form above. 

NHS e-Referral Service 

If your appointment was booked through the NHS e-Referral Service (formerly Choose and Book), you can change or cancel it online. You should find the link in your appointment letter or email.
