Lee Bond joined UHL in September 2024 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 25 years of NHS financial leadership experience. He previously served as Group Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive at the NHS Humber Health Partnership (Hull University Teaching Hospitals and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole), where he supported significant improvement journeys and integrated system-wide planning. From 2019 to 2021, he also led the finance function of the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care System.
Lee’s career includes senior finance roles at Central Manchester University Hospitals, Sherwood Forest Hospitals, Sheffield Children’s, and the former East Midlands Strategic Health Authority. He is recognised for championing financial sustainability, value-based healthcare, and collaborative system working, contributing to improved patient outcomes through robust resource stewardship.
