Becky Cassidy joined UHL as Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs in 2022, bringing experience across both acute and mental health settings. She previously served as Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she was recognised for embedding high standards of corporate governance, promoting transparency, and sharing best practice across systems.
Becky is known for her commitment to developing strong, effective boards and for ensuring organisations learn and improve through robust governance. Prior to her NHS career, she worked in the third sector with the charity Nacro, supporting vulnerable people to make positive changes and contribute to their communities—experience that grounds her approach in inclusion and social impact.
