Robert Davies is Clinical Director for Renal, Respiratory and Cardiovascular Services at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and a senior consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at the Leicester Vascular Institute. Recognised nationally for his expertise in peripheral arterial disease, Rob spearheaded the Leicester Vascular Limb Salvage Service, widely adopted as a best-practice model across the UK, and founded the Vascular Limb Salvage Academy to support specialist training.
Rob was admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2011 and received a scholarship from the British Society of Endovascular Therapists before his appointment as consultant in 2012. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at the University of Leicester, committed to advancing clinical education and mentorship.
A frequent presenter at national and international conferences, Rob is widely published in peer-reviewed medical journals, contributing to evidence-based improvements in vascular care.
