Many patients can be assessed and treated in a single visit. Complex cases are discussed weekly by our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes. We aim to send all letters and results to both patients and GPs promptly. Initial consultations are usually face-to-face, with telephone appointments used routinely for follow-ups unless a face-to-face review is needed. You will be informed of your appointment format in advance and can express a preference.
Most referrals come through GPs and are reviewed by a consultant before an appointment is offered. We also accept referrals from hospital specialists and emergency departments.
Please contact your GP if you think you need an allergy assessment.
General Allergy Clinics
Our General Allergy Clinics assess and manage common allergic conditions such as hay fever (rhinitis), food allergy, urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling), and suspected anaphylaxis. We offer expert diagnosis, including skin prick and blood testing, and provide personalised advice on treatment and allergen avoidance.
