The Leicester Children’s Orthopaedics Unit treats a wide range of limb, bone and joint conditions throughout childhood: from tiny babies to teenagers. We often see children with physical disabilities and work closely with the community physiotherapy teams. We also treat injuries in our fracture clinic, and the later effects of injuries or infections.
We work as a team, with consultants, trainees, specialist nursing staff and specialist physiotherapy staff, not to mention our invaluable secretarial and administrative support.
