What our clinic offers
Consultations and procedures
We provide sensitive and thorough consultations, allowing time for discussion, questions, and personalised advice. Our clinicians can diagnose the type of FGM and talk through any physical or emotional concerns you may have.
For women who choose to have a de-infibulation procedure, we offer a convenient ‘one-stop’ clinic where assessment and treatment can take place in the same visit. You can choose between local or general anaesthetic depending on what feels more comfortable for you.
Support services
We also offer support for managing any complications linked to FGM. Where needed, we can arrange referrals to other specialist services, such as urology, to ensure all aspects of your care are fully addressed.
We understand that the effects of FGM can be emotional as well as physical. To support your wellbeing, our clinic can arrange counselling or psychological support. These services provide a safe place to talk about your experiences and receive professional emotional care.
