University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) has launched a new WhatsApp Channel, giving patients, families, and local communities a simple new way to receive trusted health information and updates directly to their phones.
The new channel will share a range of information, including health advice, engagement opportunities, and news from UHL, helping people stay informed and connected with their local hospitals.
The launch follows feedback from local communities, who highlighted the importance of receiving timely and relevant information through accessible digital channels.
As well as providing health information and news from the Trust, the channel will offer opportunities for people to share their views through polls and engagement activities, helping UHL better understand the needs of local communities.
The channel is designed to be quick and easy to use. It offers another way to stay informed about what’s happening across UHL, whether you’re at work, on the move, or at home.
